Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Rochester church for Warren C. Wood, who was born in Cedar county and died Tuesday, Aug. 29. Interment was made in Rochester cemetery.

Warren C. Wood, 62, of No. 1180 38th St. Rock Island, Ill., died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in his home. He had been ill for some time.

A resident of Rock Island the past thirty years, he was born near Rochester, Iowa, Nov. 26, 1889. He was a locomotive engineer with the Iowa Division of the Rock Island Lines for 37 years before his retirement last June.

Surviving are the widow, three step-sons, a brother Earl of the Tipton community, and several nieces and nephews. His parents and a brother preceded him in death.
