Mechanicsville - Funeral services were held Sept. 13 at Turner's Mortuary, Cedar Rapids, for Mrs. Elva H. Beck, 93. Mrs. Beck, who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Vernon King and family, Cedar Rapids, died Sept. 10 in a Cedar Rapids hospital.

She was the mother of 2 sons, Edward S. of Cedar Rapids and Vernice of Tulsa, Okla., and a daughter, Mrs. King.

She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Beck was a former resident of this community and the grandmother of Robert Beck.
