Funeral services for Maurine "Peg" Lawson, 60, West Burlington, were held June 24, 1989 at Lunning Chapel in West Burlington, with the Rev. Jean Mueller officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park cemetery.

Mrs. Lawson died June 22 at her home in West Burlington.

The daughter of Ray and Fern Christian Ridenour, she was born May 29, 1929 in Fairfield township, Cedar county. She attended Davenport high school and married Robert Lawson Oct. 16, 1948 in Kahoka, Mo.

Mrs. Lawson was employed by the Automatic Vending Co. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Sue Lawson, West Burlington and Sandy Truitt, Coralville; a sister, Rae Wehde, Tipton and 3 grandchildren.
