Funeral services for LeRoy F. Kemmann, 73, Clarence, were held June 30, 1989 at Chapman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery with graveside military rites by American Legion Post #286 of Clarence.

Mr. Kemmann died June 28 at the Clarence Nursing Home.

The son of Henry and Anna Schluter Kemmann, he was born Feb. 17, 1916 in Clarence. He was an Army veteran of World War II and had been a feed salesman. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and American Legion Post #285 in Clarence.

Mr. Kemmann is survived by a brother, Donald, Maquoketa and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
