Former Stanwood Businessman dies at Cedar Rapids

Stanwood - Edward F. Bernstorf died Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leslie Grigg, Cedar Rapids, after a lingering illness.

He is survived by Mrs. Griff, a son, Wilfred, Cedar Rapids and a daughter, Mrs. Elwin Barth, Chelsea, Mich.

Funeral services for Mr. Bernstorf were held Monday at Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids.

Many years ago Mr. Bernstorf with his partner ran a general merchandise store in the old locker building on Broadway.
