Mrs. Wilbur Debner Services Are Nov. 6

Clarence - Funeral services for Mrs. Wilbur Debner, 46, were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in St. John's United Church of Christ with Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Music was by the church choir with Mrs. Robert Hasselbusch, organist.

Pallbearers were Harry Carbaugh, Ronald Kirkpatrick, Henry Klatt, Merle Feddersen, Richard Weatherwax and Dale Schroeder. In charge of floral tributes were Mrs. Karl Schnipkoweit and Mrs. Earl Bark. Burial was in St. John's cemetery.

Mrs. Debner died at the University hospitals, Iowa City, on Monday after an extended illness. She was born Viola Hipshur, the daughter of Alonzo and Anna Hein Hipshur, on April 28, 1922 at Avoca. She was married to Wilbur Debner at Clarence on Nov. 20, 1940.

Mrs. Debner was a member of St. John's church and the Women's Fellowship, the Eastern Star and Past Matron's Circle.

Survivors are her husband; sons, James and Robert; daughters, Mrs. Marlin (Barbara) Werling, Cedar Rapids, and Joann; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bixler, Clarence, and Mrs. Bertha McNeely, Indiana; and brothers, Paul Hipshur, Hot Springs, S.D., Albert Hipshur, Davenport and Herman Hipshur, Joliet, Ill.
