West Branch - Funeral services were held at the First Methodist church here at 2 p.m. Friday for Orville H. Wright, 58, life resident of this community, who died at his home five miles northeast of here Tuesday afternoon.

The Rev. Bernard G. Olson officiated. Burial in the West Branch cemetery.

Mr. Wright was born Nov. 4, 1892, in Gower township, Cedar county, and was married Feb. 14, 1920, to Carrie Stout, of near Tipton. The couple established a home on the Wright parental farm and were living there at the time of his death. He was a World War I veteran.

Surviving are the wife and several cousins.
