Mrs. Ray Ropa Rites At Clarence May 28

Final rites for Mrs. Ray Ropa, 62, Stanwood, were held May 28 at Chapman's in Clarence with the Rev. Virgil Freyermuth of the Tipton Baptist church officiating. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery. Mrs. Edward Speer was organist

Pallbearers were Ray Woodward, Charles Wagner, Arthur Kintzel, Robert Coppess, Darrell Worby and Henry Ormsby. Mrs. Darrell Worby, Mrs. Robert Coppess and Mrs. Arthur Kintzel were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Ropa died May 25 at the Clarence nursing home.

The daughter of Aaron and Rebecca Morgan Cadwell, she was born in Indiana Dec. 31, 1905 and was married to Raymond Ropa at Stanwood Sept. 15, 1946.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Carl A. Lee, Detroit, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Coulomb, Linton, Ind.; 2 brothers, Herbert A. and Lawrence H. Gaither, both of Detroit, Mich. and a grandson.
