Mechanicsville - Funeral services for Mrs. Lewis Hudachek, Boca Raton, Fla., a former resident of this community, were held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Rev. P. J. Casey offered the Requiem Mass. Darrel Reid was vocalist. Mrs. Hudachek died March 28 at a Boca Raton hospital following a lengthy illness.

Agnes Casey Hudachek was born Jan. 29, 1905. Her parents died when she was a small child and she was raised by Mary, John and James McAllister.

She was a graduate of Mt. Mercy College, Cedar Rapids, and was married in May of 1926 to Lewis Hudachek in St. Mary's church. They farmed west of Mechanicsville for many years. Mr. and Mrs. Hudachek moved to Boca Raton 4 years ago where they had bought an acreage and built a home.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis; son, Jack, a Major in the United States Army, living in Springfield, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary) King, Ottumwa and 8 grandchildren. Also a sister and brother, both of Minneapolis, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her foster parents.

Thomas and Everett Walshire, James Miller, Robert Hass, Howard Carpenter and Raymond Fisher were pallbearers. Burial was in Rose Hill cemetery, with Horner Funeral Service in charge.
