Last rites for Mrs. Fred (Elizabeth) Busch, 82, Lowden, were held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland, at 10:30 a.m. April 19 with the Rev. Harold Koenig and the Rev. Alan Jensen officiating. Burial is in Pine Hill cemetery, Wheatland.

Mrs. Busch died at the Jackson County hospital, Maquoketa, April 16.

The daughter of Herman and Elizabeth Genap Wiedenhoff, she was born at Massillon March 4, 1907. She was married to Fred H. Busch at Lowden March 18, 1926.

She was a member of St. Paul's church, Wheatland, and the North Auxiliary club.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Leroy (Nona) Scheper, Toronto; Mrs. Marvin (Betty) Schau, Lost Nation and Mrs. Dale (Lois) Jensen, Lowden; 2 sons, George, Charlotte and Roger, Alta Vista; 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson; a sister, Lena Timm, Maquoketa and 2 brothers, Charles Wiedenhoff, Oxford Jct. and Victor Wiedenhoff, Wheatland. She was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, 2 great-granddaughters and 2 sisters.
