Joe Goldsmith, Clarence Native, Dies in Florida

Word was received May 10 of the death of Joe Goldsmith, 68, of Apopka, Fla., in an Orlando hospital, where he had been a patient since suffering a coronary thrombosis several weeks ago.

Mr. Goldsmith was a native of Clarence and made his home here until 1943.

Funeral services were May 13. Survivors are his wife, Leona Hopkins Goldsmith, 2 daughters, Leota and Beth Goldsmith, Orlando, Fla., and a son, Dale, of Lakeland. Also 3 sisters, Mrs. Alvina Richman, Clinton; Mrs. Emerson Crist, Maquoketa, and Mrs. Paul Rix, Clarence.

Warren Goldsmith and Henry Boettcher left by air, Sunday afternoon to attend the services.
