J. C. Ferguson Died in California

Milpitas, Calif. - James C. Ferguson, 51, died Monday here after an illness of about 2 weeks. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Milpitas.

Mr. Ferguson, a native of Mechanicsville, was the son of Howard Ferguson, who now lives in Jackson, Miss. James made his home in Mechanicsville with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Buffington, following the death of his mother when he was a year old.

Mr. Ferguson was a 1935 graduate of Mechanicsville high school. He attended Millsap College, Jackson, Miss., and was a chemist.

He is survived by his wife, son, father and stepmother. The Howard Fergusons were in Milpitas during James' illness.
