Mrs. Otto Oellrich, nee Margaret Lange, was born June 22, 1882 in Bulkau, Germany, daughter of Johann and Wilhelmina Lange.

On April 2, 1905, she was married to Otto Oellrich, and this marriage was blessed with two daughters and two sons. She resided in Clarence the last 45 years.

Mrs. Oellrich passed away at the family home in Clarence on January 16, 1959, having reached the age of 76 years 6 months and 24 days.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church and the Women's Guild.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sophia Wetzel, of Chicago, Illinois, and Tina Pedersen, Clarence, Iowa; one son, Peter Oellrich of Hiawatha, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Henry Lange of Sedalia, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by one son, Heinrich, and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at the Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 19th, 1959 with Rev. Edward J. Bowers, pastor of the Evangelical and Reformed Church of Clarence, officiating. Mrs. Robert Joslin provided the music at the organ. In charge of the floral tributes were Mrs. Charles Kembel and Mrs. Herman Hunwardsen. Pallbearers were Jerry Oellrich, Otto L. Oellrich, Alden Oellrich, Larry Oellrich, Harold Clark and Kenneth Wetzel.

Interment was made in the St. John's cemetery.
