Graveside services for Mrs. Robert (Helen Agalia) Myers, 66, Clarence, were held at the Lowden cemetery at 10 a.m. Feb. 22, 1989, with the Rev. Gary Ruckman officiating. Mrs. Myers died at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, Feb. 18.

The daughter of Elmer and Winifred Westbrook Safford, she was born in Saginaw, Mich. Dec. 16, 1922. She married Robert Myers at Saginaw April 12, 1946. She had lived in Clarence since September, 1988, previously residing at Grand Prairie, Texas.

She is survived by her husband; a son, David, Lowden; 3 grandchildren; a sister, Jane Nankee, Midland, Mich. and a brother, Tom Safford, Rapid River, Mich.
