Child Called By Death

Tuesday night just after the hour of midnight the Angel of Death called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Pancratz and took from their midst the beautiful little daughter, Lois Jane.

Born August 13, 1913, she was one year, seven months and five days old. The little child had never been well from the time of her birth, but it was only from the latter months of her young life that the parents became worried about her. Tuesday during the day she became decidedly worse and at one o'clock in the night she peacefully passed away.

Precious little blossom of immortality, how much they teach as even when they do prune their angelic wings during a short visit here.

"Suffer the little children to come unto me for such is the kingdom of Heaven." These beautiful words, the promise of the Ruler of the Universe, make the burden of grief lighter to the bereaved parents.

Her early death leaves to mourn her father and mother and little brother, Master Raymond, and other near relatives.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the house at 2:30 o'clock, District Superintendent Dr. Carlton of the Upper Iowa Conference officiating. Burial will take place in the Lowden cemetery.

The pallbearers will be the Misses Meta Heiner, Ina Reid, Wilma Cassier and Lydia Conrad.

Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe on His gentle breast--
There by His love o'ershaded,
Sweetly my soul shall rest.
Hark! 'tis the voice of angels,
Borne in a song to me,
Over the fields of glory,
Over the jasper sea.
