Edward E. Rowser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Rowser, was born on February 28, 1868, in Red Oak Township. After completing the prescribed course he became a licensed veterinarian and was proud of his long record of service in that capacity. The end of this earthly life came peacefully on November 27, 1950, at the home of his son Ralph. He was 82 year of age. For 56 years he had lived in Clarence.
Dr. Rowser leaves to mourn his passing his only son Ralph; the two grandchildren, Karen and Kieran, one brother, Charles, of Saguache, Colorado; and one sister, Mabel Spear, of Waterloo.
He was preceded in death by his wife, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
He had been a member of The Methodist Church since 1938.
The funeral service was held in The Methodist Church on Thursday, November 30th, at 1:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. A. D. Holtry. In charge of the flowers were Mrs. H. A. Bouschlicher and Mrs. Arnold Kahl. Pallbearers were Ernest Doerman, Elmer Sawyer, Wayne Merritt, J. E. Shriver, George Ruprecht and Lester Kelly. Interment was made in the Clarence Cemetery.
