Mrs Mabel Miller, 83, of Clarence died Saturday at the Clarence Nursing Home after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Clarence Methodist church with the Rev Don Kehrli officiating. Burial was in the Clarence Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were August Schroeder, Hubert Meier, Mearl Bixler, Lawrence Kline, Howard Claney and Roland Buck.

Mabel Hecht was born Sept. 18, 1890 at Ida Grove. She married Arthur Miller. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughters, Mrs Mearl Keseberg of Chisago, Minn and Mrs John Jansen of Scottsdale, Arizona; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a sister, Marjorie Hecht of Mt Vernon.
