Last rites were held Sunday at 1:30 P.M. in Chapman Funeral Home Clarence for Edwin Schluter, 87. The Rev Donald Kehrli conducted the service. Mrs King Kelly was soloist and Mrs Robert Joslin was organist.

Pallbearers were Lester Kelly, Walter Kemmann, Paul Busching, Grover Penningroth, Harry Decker and Henry Feddersen. Burial was in the Clarence Cemetery.

Mr Schluter died Friday in the Clarence Nursing Home where he had been a patient for sometime.

He was born near Lowden. He married Myrtie Brink in 1914 in Clarence. He was a retired lawyer.

Survivors include his wife, a niece and five nephews.
