Pearl Perkins, 88 of Clarence died Sunday in St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapman Funeral Home Clarence. The Rev Calvin Schumacher officiated. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

Pearl Bain was born Oct. 16, 1885 in Oxford. She and her husband operated a restaurant in Clarence for a number of years.

Survivors include step-sons, Fred Perkins of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and Paul Perkins of Rockford, Ill.; four grandchildren and a brother, William Bain of Iowa City.
