Edna Ruth Loomis Behrend was born in Stanwood, Oct. 13, 1894, daughter of Gertrude Brown and Adelbert Loomis, and passed away at her home Feb. 3rd at the age of 47 years, 3 months and 20 days.

Edna Ruth Loomis was married to Frederich John Behrend at Stanwood September 30, 1915.

She leaves to mourn, her bereaved husband, three sons and two daughters, Robert, who is in service at Tacoma, Washington, Melvin and family of Davenport, Evelyn, Arlene and Leland at home. One son preceding her in death. She also leaves four sisters, Mrs. Nellie Burgess and Mrs. Bessie Lane of Olin, Mrs. Florence Whiteman of Howard, Ohio, and Mrs. Mary Nelson of Clinton; also a number of nieces and nephews and a large number of friends.

The funeral will be held Friday at 2 o'clock at the McCormick funeral home.
