Mechanicsville -- Funeral services for Mrs. Cecil Walshire, 55, were held Nov. 14 in St. Mary's Catholic church. The Rev. P. J. Casey offered the mass and officiated at the service. Arlo Hasselbusch, Lloyd Hasselbusch, George Doellinger, Ralph St. Clair, James Farley and Robert Sommerville were pallbearers with burial in Rose Hill cemetery.

Barbara A. Allen Walshire was born March 22, 1920 in St. Charles, Ill. She was married to Cecil R. Walshire Oct. 3, 1942 in Lafayette, La. They lived in Sherman Oaks, Calif. for the past several years.

Mrs. Walshire is survived by her husband, Cecil; a daughter Mrs Randy (Susan) Gressang and 2 grandchildren; her mother, Mary Clara Allen; 2 sisters, Ruth Shafer and Beth Ferguson and 2 brothers, George Allen and Clarence Allen.
