Area relatives and friends received word of the death of Florence Lorch, 60, of Arlington Heights for 20 years, formerly of Chicago. Mrs. Lorch was born March 18, 1915, in Lowden. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis Rixe and passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, in Northwest Community hospital, Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Lorch had worked for 5 years in the Antique shop at Klehm's Nursery in Arlington Heights.

She is survived by her husband, G. Arnold, a daughter, Carlotta Lorch of Arlington Heights; a son, Steven Lorch of Arlington Heights, and 3 sisters, Alma Rixe and Lillian Travis, both of Chicago and Alice Koch of Gurnee. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Rixe.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 18, at 1:30 in St. Peter Lutheran church in Arlington Heights, with the Rev. Robert O. Bartz officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens cemetery, Arlington Heights.
