Funeral services for Mrs. Harold (Esthyr) Babcock, 70, were held at the Chapman Funeral home, Clarence, Oct. 15 with the Rev. DuWayne Kirkeide officiating. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lawrence Siebels, Raymond Hein, John Cain, Milford Pruess, Charles Albaugh and Marion Jamison. Mrs. Edward Speer was organist.

Mrs. Babcock died at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, Oct. 11.

Esthyr Ropa was born in Cedar county and was married to Harold Babcock in Missouri in 1941. She was a bookkeeper.

She is survived by her husband and 2 brothers, Ray and Erwin Ropa, both of Stanwood.
