Funeral services for Otto Koch, 82, were held at Zion United Church of Christ, Lowden, Oct. 10 with the Rev. Paul Jordan officiating. Burial was in the Lowden cemetery with military rites by the Lillis-Deerberg post of the American Legion.
Pallbearers were Hugo Kruckenberg, William Norton, Harold Toerber, Hugo Gehrls, Leo Twachtman and John Proesch. Mrs. Gertrude Hensch and Mrs. Irma Steinke and Mrs. Walter Helmold were in charge of flowers.
Mr Koch died at the Wheatland Nursing home Oct. 18.
The son of William and Pauline Loeding Koch, he was born Oct _1, 1893. He was married to Mabel Pringel at Davenport Dec. 8, 1920.
He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion at Lowden.
Mr. Koch is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Schanze, Wheatland, a grandson, Michael Schanze; a sister, Mrs. Emil Lange, Wheatland and a brother, Arnold, Lowden. He was preceded in death by his wife.
