Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa M. (Rose) Albaugh, 89, will be held at the Mechanicsville Methodist church at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 25 with the Rev. Harlan Martin and the Rev. Donald Wooge officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill cemetery.
Pallbearers are grandsons, Ronald, Keith, Wallace, Ernest, Larry and Donald Albaugh. Mrs. Floyd Siver was vocalist and Mrs. Calvin Robinson organist.
Mrs. Albaugh died at the Americana nursing home, Cedar Rapids, Sept. 22 following an extended illness.
Rosa Dryer was born at Bloomington, Ill., Oct. 17, 1885 and was educated in the Bloomington schools. She was married to Harry H. Albaugh at Mechanicsville Oct. 20, 1903.
She had lived in Mechanicsville until going to the nursing home 5 months ago. She was a 50 year member of the Helping Hand Rebekah lodge.
She is survived by 5 sons, Theodore and Robert, Tipton; Grant, Olin; Howard (Charlie), Stanwood and Donald, Edwardsville, Ill.; 17 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sons and a granddaughter.
