Mrs Fred Evers, 64, died Thursday in her home following several months illness. Funeral services were held Sunday at 10 a.m. in St John United Church of Christ with the Rev Calvin Schumacher officiating. Burial was in St John cemetery.

Debra Wulff was organist and hymns were sung by the church choir. Pallbearers were David, Kevin, Kirk and Henry Evers and Herbert and Louis Rehmke. Mrs Arnold Pruess and Mrs Lorenz Hansen had charge of flowers.

Anna Rehmke was born in Klienrheide, Germany. She married Mr Evers Dec. 31, 1927, at Maquoketa, Iowa. She and her husband were custodians at St John's church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs Richard Fehling, Clarence; sons, Marvin, Tipton, Iowa; Darrell, Clarence and Frederick, Mechanicsville, Iowa, and six grandchildren.
