The community was shocked to hear of the tragic death of little Kelly Jo Resewehr, 3, daughter of Mr and Mrs William Resewehr living southwest of Clarence, who died in the University hospital, Iowa City last Wednesday night from injuries suffered in a farm accident earlier that evening.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 31 in St John United Church of Christ with the Rev Calvin Schumacher officiating. Mrs Robert Hasselbusch was organist. Serving as pallbearers were Richard Willliams, Dennis Ruther, Glenn Biere and Jeff Meyer, cousins of Kelly Jo. Donna Biere and Iola Muesing, also cousins, were flower girls.

Kelly Jo was born May 25, 1968 in Cedar Rapids. Surviving are her parents; three brothers, Kerry, Kirk and Kevin; also grandparents, Mrs Emma Muesing of Tipton and Mr and Mrs Leo Resewehr of Clarence.
