Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in St John United Church of Christ for Ernest Kintzel, 95, a native of Clarence. The Rev Calvin Schumacher officiated. Mrs Robert Hasselbusch was organist.

Pallbearers were Edward Ruchtozke, Wilbur Conrad, Carl Ketelsen, Wm Mingst, Lavern Kintzel, Richard Kintzel. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

Mr Kintzel had resided at the Utopia Nursing Home in Tipton for a number of years.

Those attending the funeral from a distance were Mr and Mrs Wm Unsicker, Ney, Ohio; Mr and Mrs Theodore Unsicker and family of Woodburn, Indiana and Mr and Mrs Verne Lausen of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
