Funeral services were held Jan. 12th for Edward Albert, 57, of Clarence, in St John United Church of Christ. The Rev Calvin Schumacher officiated. Burial was in St John cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Noel Mast, Richard Elijah, Howard McClellan, Cecil Bowman, Kenneth Morehead and Merle Feddersen. Mrs Morehead and Mrs Bowman had charge of flowers.

Mr Albert was born Feb. 3, 1913, the son of Louie and Emma Bugge Albert. He was married on Feb. 1, 1970 to Dorothy Hohl at Mount Pleasant. He was in the plumbing and heating business.

Survivors include his wife; a step daughter, Mrs Thomas Bailey of West Liberty; four step-grandchildren and several cousins.
