Zella Yerington

Tipton – Funeral services for Mrs. Zella Yerington, 60, Richmond (Rochester?), were held Sunday at the Sheets – Dahl Funeral Home, Tipton. Burial was at the Rochester cemetery.

Mrs. Yerington died Jan. 20 at Mercy hospital, Iowa City.

The daughter of James Albert and Sarah Bishop Figgins; she was born March 9, 1900, at Richmond.

Survivors include her husband, Archie Yerington, Rochester; two daughters, Mrs Janet Hamil and Mrs. Albert Witmer, Rochester; four sons, Harry of Richmond (Rochester?), Charles of Davenport, Howard of Muscatine and Don, a missionary at Manaos, Brazil; four sisters, Mrs. Dan Osborne of Muscatine, Mrs. Florence Rickets of route 1, Muscatine, Mrs. Lillian Eis of route 2, Muscatine and Mrs. Stein Nielsen of Lake Tahoe, Cal; one brother, Claude Figgins of Muscatine, 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
