In the History of Cass Co 1884 " Jeremiah Bradshaw was in Mahaska Co IA in May 1851. Abt the middle of 1851 he arrived Cass County. Mr Bradshaw was married in Ohio Jan 15 1828 to Miss Eliza Doolittle, a native of New York. By this union nine children were born, one died in infancy They were Victor M of 4th Iowa Infantry, Henry L and Harvey in same Regt, the former killed at Mission Ridge; Calvin who was in 23rd Ia Infantry, and wounded at Black River Bridge; hannah, wife of G I Chizum; Lucy ann, wife of Allbaugh, b in 1836 an dd 1879, and Lydia wife of __Jackson, l in Pottawattamie Co.; Sarah d at age three. Mrs Bradshaw died in this county Dec 1 1863. In May 1865 Mr Bradshaw m Parmelia Ferrell, she d Jan 1 1880 in Southern California, where Mr Bradshaw had taken her.
