GRANT AND CHILDS

Posted By: Nancy Hoxsey (email)

My great-auntand her husband, Rev & Mrs Edward Payson Childs, left from Anita in Cass county and ended up in Ashland OR. in 1893. How would they have travelled, by wagon train or railroad? Her sister, Jessie Anna Grant followed them to Ashland the next year. Any information regarding transportation from Iowa to Oregon at this time would be appreciated. Of course if passenger lists are available that would be great. Thank you
