Charles Foy, 86, Dies

MASSENA. - Charles Foy, 86, of Massena died Saturday afternoon at the Cass County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 22 at the First Christian Church, with Rev. Bobbi Gatz officiating. Burial will be at the Massena Center Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 7-8 tonight at the Massena Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Foy, the son of John and Ada Foy, was born Jan. 6, 1894, in Barbada, Neb., and married Helen Goings Sept. 26, 1934, at Hiawatha, Kan.

Surviving are his wife, Helen, two sons, Harold of Fillmore, Calif and Lowell of Omaha, a daughter, Mrs. Larry Shepherd, of Walnut, three brothers, Thomas of Omaha, John of Banning, Calif. and Earl of Torrington, Wash., two sisters, Agnes Retlinger of Downers Groves, Ill. and Effie Ricketts of Witchita, Kan., six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
