DIED—At her home, 800 Elm street, Atlantic Iowa, at 4 p. m. Wednesday March 27, 1895, Mrs. Ann Magee, aged 75 years.

Mrs. Magee was born in county Donegal, Ireland, in 1820 and at the age of twenty years came to America, finding her first home in Philadelphia. It was here she was married and in 1856 she came west, locating with her husband on a farm in Franklin township this county. She removed to Atlantic in ’86, five years after the death of her husband. She leaves three children living, the oldest, G. W. Magee and two daughters, Mrs. Columbus Prall and Mrs. Rebecca Malone.

Mrs. Magee was a member the Episcopal church and was one of the most respected of the old settlers in this county. Her health has been indifferent for a number of years but she has been about until last Friday when dissolution approached. The funeral will be held at the residence, 800 Elm street, tomorrow afternoon at one o’clock, sermon by Dr. E. S. Hill, interment being in the Wiota cemetery.

Mrs. Magee was a good woman and in her almost four score years, was a blessing to her friends and those who came within the circle of her influence.
