May 4, 1900Mrs. Fuhlendorf Dead
Mrs. Christinna [Christina] Fuhlendorf died yesterday morning at her home three miles northwest of Marne shortly after 8 o’clock, aged 64 years. The cause of her death was dropsy, she having been a sufferer from heart trouble for some time. Mrs. Fuhlendorf was formerly a resident of this city at which time she lived on north Elm street and she has lived in this vicinity since 1872. She leaves six children surviving her, two sons and four daughters. The four daughters, Mrs. M. C. Cardio, Mrs. Henry Hafele, Mrs. Ben Wiseman and Mrs. William Ulbrich are residents of this city, one son, John lives near Marne, and the other son, Chris, lives at Lebanon, Mo.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock at the late home and at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon at the German Lutheran church in this city and the interment will be made in the Atlantic cemetery.

May 5, 1900The funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Christiana [Christina] Fuhlendorf were held this afternoon from the German Evangelical church and was attended by a large number of friends of the deceased and her family. The remains were interred in the Atlantic cemetery.
