Mrs. Frank Perry of this city has received word of the death at Long Beach, Calif., of Frank Harris, whose serious illness was told of in this paper some little time ago. The following from a Long Beach paper tells of the death.
“Frank L. Harris, son of James and Mary E. He grew to manhood in Atlantic, Ia., and attended the public schools there. He united with the Methodist church at the age of 17. He was married to Maude Howell, of Brayton Ia., Feb. 7, 1900. To this union one child was born who died from injuries received in an auto accident here four years ago. There are left to mourn their loss his aged mother, wife and one brother, of Ft. Collins, Colo. He passed away after an illness of three months. He underwent two operations in Omaha, Neb., for cancer of the bowels. His one great desire was to see his mother so he came to Long Beach February 12. Although he suffered constant pain he was always cheerful.”
