MARNE WOMAN DIES TODAY

Mrs. B. J. Harris, wife of B. J. Harris, who lives north of Marne, passed away at the Atlantic hospital this morning at 4:30 after an illness of ten days. The cause of the death was inflammatory rheumatism. She was brought to the hospital last Sunday, but too late for any relief.

Deceased was born in 1867, north of Walnut, and was the wife of a prosperous farmer. B J. Harris, who survives her. There are two children living, Orla and Valerie, another child dying in infancy. Two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Bucker of Harlan and Mrs. Lena Harris of California, and four brothers, John Hildebrand of Walnut, Charles Hildebrand of Harlan, William Hildebrand of Omaha and Henry Hildebrand of Harlan, survive her. The mother of deceased, Mrs. John Hildebrand, is still living at Haran [Harlan].

The funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Monroe church near Marne and interment made in the Monroe cemetery. The pastor of the M. E. church at Walnut will be in charge of the services.
