Death of Chas. Trede

Charles Trede, one of Atlantic’s best known and best respected German citizens died at his home in this city at 1:30 this afternoon, after a sickness of several months. Mr. Trede was nearly 59 years of age. He had lived in this county seventeen years; for several years he lived south of Lewis, and for the past few years, in Atlantic. His wife, four daughters and two sons survive him. The daughters are: Mrs. Henry Jacobson, Mrs. Liston Collins, Mrs. Ashley Mahan, and Miss Agnes Trede. The sons are William and John. The burial will probably occur on Friday. Mr. Trede owned the Occidental Hotel, a farm in Pottawattamie County and other property.
