MRS. I. H. CONINE, 71, DIES AT HOME NEAR CITY TODAY

Mrs. Mary Leona Conine, 71, the wife of I. H. Conine and a resident of Cass county all her life, died this morning at 4:50 at the farm home north of Atlantic following a lingering illness. She had been seriously ill for about a year.

Mrs. Conine was born on Jan. 21, 1867, in Pymosa township, the daughter of Albert and Maria Harris. She was married on Feb. 22, 1889, to Mr. Conine and they moved to the farm five miles north of the city, where they had since resided.

She was a member of the Methodist church of the Buck Creek neighborhood.

Surviving besides the husband is one brother, James Harris, of Omaha.

Funeral arrangements have not ben [been] completed.
