MISS ELIZA JANE CROLLEY DIES AT HOME HERE FRIDAY

Miss Eliza Jane Crolley, 87, a resident of Atlantic the last 30 years, died last evening at her home, 1010 Poplar street, at 9:30. Miss Crolley had been in ill health the last two years.

She was born in Des Moines May 13, 1858, the daughter of John and Margaret Hughes Crolley, and when she was 12 year old, the family located near Winterset. In 1890, they moved to a farm southeast of Wiota, where she resided until coming to Atlantic in 1916. She was a member of SS Peter and Paul’s Catholic church.

Surviving are two sisters, Misses Kate and Polly Crolley of Atlantic, a number of nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were four brothers, James, Frank, John and Charles Crolley.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic church, the Rev. P. N. McDermott officiating. Interment will be in the Atlantic Catholic cemetery. The remains will be at the late home, where The Rosary will be recited this evening and Sunday evening at 9 o’clock.

ATLANTIC—Funeral services were held Monday at S. S. Peter and Paul Catholic church for Miss Eliza Jane Crolley, 87, who died Friday at her home here after a two-year illness. The Rev. Father P. N. McDermott conducted rites, with burial in Atlantic Catholic cemetery. Surviving are two sisters, Misses Kate and Polly Crolley of Atlantic.
