KATE CROLLEY, 87, LONGTIME CASS RESIDENT, DIES

Kate Crolley, 87, of 1010 Poplar street, died this morning at 9:30 from complications incident to old age. She had been in ill health for some time.

Miss Crolley was born in Des Moines Feb. 17, 1862, the daughter of John and Margaret Hughes Crolly and resided in Madison county from 1870 until moving to Cass county in 1890. She resided southwest of Wiota until moving to Atlantic in 1926. She was member of SS. Peter and Paul’s Catholic church.

Surviving is a sister, Miss Polly Crolley of Atlantic. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eliza Jane Crolley and four brothers, James, Frank, John and Charles Crolley.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:30 at SS. Peter and Paul’s Catholic church, the Rev. P. N. McDermott officiating. The Rosary will be recited at the Roland, Peacock & Baxter funeral home this evening at 8:30 and at the late home Sunday evening at the same hour. Interment will be in the Atlantic Catholic cemetery.

ATLANTIC—Funeral services were held Monday at Sts. Peter and Paul’s Catholic church for Kate Crolley, 87, who died Saturday morning. The Rev. P. N. McDermott officiated and burial was in the Atlantic Catholic cemetery.

She is survived by a sister, Miss Polly Crolley of Atlantic
