ANOTHER CHILD DIES IN IDAHO

J. O. Fudge received a telegram from his brother Ora Fudge of Idaho Falls, Idaho telling the death of another of his children from scarlet fever. This is the third child Mr. and Mrs. Fudge have lost in the past three weeks from scarlet fever. They are, Wilbur 7 years old; Raymond 5 years old and Helen 9 years old. Mrs. Fudge is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Shearer of Lewis.

SICKNESS AND DEATH

The Family of Ora Fudge at Idaho Falls, Almost Obliterated Within Past Month.

Jacob Fudge of this city is in receipt of a letter from his brother at Idaho Falls conveying the sad intelligence that two if not three of his children are dead, that another is sick and not expected to live, that his wife has blood poison in her hands, the two nurses employed to care for the sick are now sick themselves, and that his brother is quarantined in the home and unable to do anything for himself or those left him. The letter stated that the neighbors have been very kind in caring for the family but that their wants were many and pressing.

Jacob Fudge immediately forwarded a draft for his brother and the parents of his brother’s wife, the Shearers, did likewise, and they will also see to it that their financial needs are taken care of.

The friends here of the afflicted family will deeply regret to hear of these awful bereavements.
