Acker Funeral Tomorrow – The funeral services for Walter Acker, whose body will arrive here this evening on No. 6 from Denver, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from the Presbyterian church, in charge of the Rev. J. K. Driver. Six nephews will act as pallbearers; they are: Ira and Leo Harris, and Guy and Harley, Clayton and Clifton Acker. Upon the arrival here the body will be taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Malone, the latter of whom is a niece of the deceased. Harry Acker, a brother, from Genva [Geneva], Neb., arrived this morning to attendr [attend] the funeral.

Eight Brothers at Funeral – The funeral services for Walter Acker whose body arrived here Saturday evening from Denver, were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 from the Presbyterian church. All of the brothers of the deceased, eight in number, with their families were present. They are: Cal of Des Moines; Jake, Ed and Charles of Prescott, Harry of Geneva, Neb., C. C. of Casey, and T. W. and C. M. Acker of Atlantic, were at his bedside when he passed away, and with the widow accompanied the remains here. Walter Acker died from a complication of diseases; his last illness, for the treatment of which he was removed from his home in Grand Junction to a Denver hospital, extended over two weeks. The Rev. J. K Driver officiated at the funeral and interment was in the Atlantic cemetery.
