Christian Acker.

ATLANTIC – Funeral services were held Saturday at the Roland and Peacock and Baxter funeral home for Christian Acker, 83, a resident of Cass county 66 years, who died Thursday.

Mr. Acker was born in Pennsylvania, the son of George and Elizabeth Acker, and came to Cedar county with his parents in 1871. He located on a farm in Grove township in 1880.

Surviving are three brothers, H. Court Acker of Greenfield, Ed Acker of Fontanelle and Charles Acker of Chicago.

Burial was held in the Atlantic cemetery.
