Mrs. W. B. Berry Dies Here Last Evening

Mrs. Mary Berry, 81, of 701 Cedar street, died at 6 25 Wednesday evening at the Atlant c [Atlantic] Memorial hospital, where she had been a patient since March 28. She had been in failing health for some time.

The daughter of David and Catherine Burkey, she was born near Walnut June 3, 1873, and was married to William B Berry at the Burkey home Feb. 21, 1894 They farmed six miles west of Atlantic until moving to At antic [Atlantic] in 1926 Mr Berry died last Jan. 30 Mrs. Berry was a member of the Atlantic Methodist church

Surviving are a son, Ray Berry and a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Warren, both of Atlantic and a grandson, Donald Berry of Limon, Colo She was preceded in death by a daughter who died in infancy and two brothers, John B. and William H. Burkey.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the Methodist church, the Rev Leonard E Tinker officiating. The remains will be taken from the Roland funeral home to her home Friday morning and interment will be in the Brighton cemetery north of Marne.
