Funeral services for Gladys Fudge held on Friday

Funeral services for Gladys Pauline Fudge, 59, of Jefferson were held Friday at the Slininger chapel in Jefferson with the Rev Dr J. W. Marlin of the First Methodist church of Jefferson in charge. Burial was in the Jefferson cemetery.

Pall bearers were Ward Koons, Keith Wilbur, H. R. Rees, William Wright, Howard Williams and Hollis Booth. Organist was Mrs Curtis Wilson.

Gladys Pauline Fudge, daughter of Charles L. and Charlotte Olson, was born March 12, 1901, in Atlantic, Iowa and passed away in Jefferson, Iowa Aug. 15, 1950 [1960] after reaching the age of 59 years, and 5 months.

On Dec. 7, 1921 she was united in marriage to Joseph O. Fudge in Atlantic, Iowa. To this union two children were born one of whom died in infancy.

Mrs. Fudge was a member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem in Atlantic, the Evening Star Chapter No. 107, American Legion Auxiliary and First Methodist church of Jefferson. She was associated in the florist industry with her husband from 1934 until the time of her illness.

Those who survive are her husband, Joseph O. Fudge of Jefferson, her son, Charles Fudge of Missoula, Mont. and one brother, George Olson of Jefferson.
