A funeral Mass for Herman John Kramer, 63, of 1405 Lincoln Drive who died at his home Friday evening will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Edward Kelly officiating. Interment will be in the Atlantic .Catholic Cemetery. A wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Roland Funeral Home. The son of Frank and Anna Glanzman Kramer, he was born Nov. 29. 1916, in Ft. Smith, Ark., and lived there and in Oklahoma until he was 18 years old. He had spent several years in the Civilian Conservation Corps and served in. the Army during World War II. Re operated a cafe in Anita for several years, worked for the telephone company in Anita , Swift Company in Atlantic and Omaha. For the last 27 years he had been employed by the Rock Island Railroad In Atlantic. He was married to Opal A. Roots May 27, 1948.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Larry Kramer of Thornton, Colo.; a daughter, Loretta Kramer of Atlantic; a grand­daughter, Stephanie; five brothers, Paul of Altus, Ark., Frank of Council Bluffs, Bill of Ft. Smith, Ark., Bernard of Van Buren, Ark., and Joe Kramer of Bartlesville, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Tom (Margaret) Royalty of Bell Gardens, Calif., Mrs. Duard (Mary) Bowling of Fort Smith, Ark., and Mrs. Martinus (Martha) Kohler of Beloit, Kan.; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
