Lynn Lambertsen, 14, Dies Tuesday At Home Here
LYNN RUSSEL LAMBERTSEN, 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. VERNON K. LAMBERTSEN, died at 12:35 Tuesday afternoon at his home northwest of Atlantic. He had been ill the last seven months.
He was born at the Atlantic hospital Oct. 4, 1956, the son of VERNON and MAXINE CHRISTENSEN LAMBERTSEN and lived in the Wiota and Anita vicinity all of his life. He was a member of St. Paulís Lutheran church, a ninth grade student and had been a member of Troop 60, Boy Scouts for three years.
Surviving besides his parents are two brothers, RICKY and TODD and a sister, LESA LAMBERTSEN all at home; three half-brother, KENT LAMBERTSEN of Omaha; KEITH LAMBERTSEN, Treynor; and TERRY LAMBERTSEN of Atlantic; a half-sister, Mrs. WAYNE EWING of Griswold; the paternal great grandfather, J. C. CHRISTENSEN of Atlantic and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. WALTER CHRISTENSEN of Wiota and Mr. and Mrs. M. N. LAMBERTSEN of Anita.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at St. Paulís Lutheran church, the Rev. ERNEST CHRISTENSEN officiating and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery at Lewis. The family will meet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 this evening and the casket will be taken to the church Thursday morning.
