MARNE WOMAN DIES HERE TODAY

Mrs. ANNA MARIE LAMBERTSEN, 77, wife of NIS LAMBERTSEN of Marne, died at 6:35 this morning at the Atlantic hospital where she had been a patient for the last ten days. Complications incident to old age were said to be the cause of death.

She was born Feb. 3, 1853, in Denmark, the daughter of LOU and MARIE BORK. She was married in Denmark and came to Marne in 1890 with her husband and family. Mrs. Lambertson had been a member of the Danish Lutheran church since a small girl and at the time of her death was a member of the Oakhill Lutheran church.

Surviving besides her husband are three sons, LOU and MORRIS LAMBERTSEN of Brayton and PETE LAMBERTSEN of Oakland. Four children preceded her in death. Thirteen grandchildren also survive.

Short funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock at her late home in Marne, followed by the main services at the Oakhill church at 2:30. The Rev. LAWRENCE SIERSBECK of Atlantic, assisted by the Rev. Mr. PLAMBECK of Oakhill, will officiate and interment will be in the Oakhill cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Roland, Peacock & Baxter funeral home until Saturday morning.
