RITES HELD FOR H. BALLENSIEFER

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at St. Joseph’s church today for HENRY BALLENSIEFER, 61, who died Wednesday noon at the Atlantic hospital.

Father JOSEPH DEVLIN officiated. Mrs. RICHARD RICHTER was vocalist and Mrs. KENNETH RICHTER was organist.

The son of AUGUST and CAROLINE BALLENSIEFER, he was born March 31, 1900, and had always lived in this community. The last six months he had lived with his sister, Mrs. MILT BRUNER. Other survivors are a sister, Mrs. ERNEST BURKE of Anita, and a brother ED, who also resides at the Bruner home. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Casket bearers were JOE BALLENSIEFER, JAMES BRUNER, GAIL BURKE, RICHARD RICHTER, RAY BURKE and BERNARD EARL.

Those attending the services from a distance were the RAY BURKES of Harlan, Mrs. GOMEZ and JOHN JENNINGS of Greenfield, GUS MAILANDER of Dana, Ill., LESTER and LUCILLE COLRAVEY of Long Point, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. JAMES BRUNER of Des Moines, and Mr. and Mrs. BERNARD EARL of Omaha.
